Flush Tegular Ceilings

Introduction

By utilising the Burgess Flushline grid system in conjunction with Tegular ceiling tiles, the designer has the opportunity to position both tile and grid in the same flush plane within the ceiling membrane. The Flushline grid (15mm) is an accurately engineered system, incorporating a birdsmouth and arrowhead junction feature, which forms a discrete picture-frame effect around each tile.

A continuous M6 thread detail within the grid provides an ideal facility for partition head fixing points. Furthermore, the system is well suited for positioning a variety of acoustic inserts within the rear of the tile and provides the design opportunity for enhanced acoustic performance in selected zones to meet individual occupants requirements.

By selecting the Burgess SRA acoustic insert, high level room to room attenuation of 41 Dncw for cellular offices is automatically combined with significant sound absorption levels of NRC 0.65 for open plan offices. This system, in conjunction with the unique SRA insert, combines precision-engineered aesthetics with designer freedom in acoustic performance and space planning.
